A good car buying experience.
We recently purchased a car from Slaters Motor Group. There were a good selection of vehicles for sale in their indoor showroom to suit all budgets. We were very impressed with the spacing between the cars in which you could view easily without restrictions.
We thought Sales Consultant John was very professional and knowledgeable in his work and he was able to answer all of our queries. He took care of everything from the paperwork to MOT. Also we were offered a fair price for our car as part-exchange. The communication was very good, John kept us well informed with updates and had the car ready for collection in good time.
In our opinion, Slaters Motor Group provides a good all round service. If you see a car you like at Slaters, give them a try and see for yourself.

Dealt with John who was brilliant throughout the process, seen the car i wanted online and went to view it. John left me to look around, there was know pressure or pushing you get at other garages. Managed to get me a test drive within half an hour of being there.
When it came to buying, the process was easy! The car came with MOT, Tax, service and 2 year warranty. I asked john for the timing belt to be changed for my own peace of mind. He had no problem, even gave me a discounted rate and the car was still available on time despite extra work being carried out.
Overall id say probably the best experience ive had buying a car, very professional and almost too easy!

I'd give 6 stars if I could..
I'm new to driving and so didn't have a clue what to expect, but if every garage was as good as Slaters then I'm sure I've got nothing to worry about next time (if I go elsewhere that is!!).
John has been fantastic from start to finish from this process and so has their finance company.
I had a query surrounding one of the systems lights and Slaters advised I could pop down and they thoroughly explained what it was (I wasn't sure of one of the symbols on the monitor) the team at Slaters Services, the man that helped me was fantastic, it was only a query on my behalf, the car is pristine.
I'm sure this isn't the first positive review you will read when looking for a car at Slaters, but don't let anything stop you, they are amazing.

I had a query surrounding one of the systems lights and Slaters advised I could pop down and they thoroughly explained what it was (I wasn't sure of one of the symbols on the monitor) the team at Slaters Services, the man that helped me was fantastic, it was only a query on my behalf, the car is pristine.

After my car was damaged by youths catapulting a stone at the rear quarter panel Mark and his Team restored the car back to its pre damage condition, if not better. The bodywork was of an extremely high standard of finish, and a true testament to the new water based system which the body repair facility have had recently installed I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark and his Team for not just car sales, car mechanical work, but now also car bodywork repairs. I have been a customer for over 20 years and and always found Mark very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and wish him all the best for the future. After shortlisting a vehicle on Auto Trader, I contacted to Slaters Motor Group in Sunderland to arrange a viewing and test drive. The car was ready to view and test at the time organised. Despite living nearly 300 miles away John responded to our query within the hour and sent us a personalised video of the car.
